Winona, Minn. - Mercyhurst College senior tight end Brandon Hill was named 2007 second team All-Northwest Region by Don Hansen's Football Gazette. He was one of 78 players named to either the first, second or third teams.

Hill had a productive senior season and was named the team's Most Valuable Player. He caught 40 passes for 633 yards and four touchdowns. Also the team's punter, Hill averaged 36.5 yards on 35 punts in 2007. He was selected as a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Second Team All-Conference player for the second consecutive season and was a Daktronics Second Team All-Region selection as well.
