Mike Krahe is in his third year as the Lakers' defensive line coach in 2007. The Erie Cathedral Prep alum was a four-year member of the Lakers' defense and played in 40 games during his career. He was an Honorable Mention All-GLIAC performer in 2004 and received a Team Captain Award.

Krahe was a standout in both football and wrestling during his high school years. His football team finished second in the state as a senior. He himself was named Second Team All Metro as a senior and graduated second all-time in sacks in a single season.

He and his wife, Valerie, live in Erie.
