Erie, Pa. - Dave Lanahan hit a pair of free throws in the game's last minute as the White Team outlasted the Green Team 69-67 Saturday night in the Second Annual Men's Basketball Alumni Game at the Athletic Center. Proceeds from the event wre donated to the Alzheimer's Association of Erie.

The White raced to a 43-23 lead at the half, but the Green rallied in the final twenty minutes to make the game close.

The White Team was led in scoring by Darren Angell with 25. Dave Lanahan finshed with 16, Craig Young 13, Brent Swain 8, and Rahsaah Roland 7.

Jeff Daisley led the Green with 22, 18 of which came in the seond half. Matt Thielker followed with 17, Scott Melle 13, Brian Lanahan 7, Keith Nies 6, and Jamie Houston 2.

The 2007-08 varsity team was introduced to the crowd and there were also 3-point shooting and slam dunk contests. Senior guard Terry Smith hit the most triples while newcomer Franklin Jones won the dunk contest.
