Erie, Pa. - The Mercyhurst baseball team picked up an extra game Monday afternoon, scheduling a home game against Division I Canisius for Wednesday, April 2 at the Mercyhurst Baseball Field.

The game is scheduled for nine innings and is slated for a 3:30 p.m. first pitch.

The Lakers (12-11), 11-4 against non-conference opponents and 2-0 against Division I opponents this season will meet a Canisius team that is 19-2 overall and 3-0 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.

It will be just the third non-conference game played at home for the Lakers.
