Erie, Pa. - Former Mercyhurst baseball standout David Lough was recently featured in a pair of article about the Kansas City Royals' minor league organization on minorleaguebaseball.com.

Lough was drafted in the 11th round of the Major League Baseball Amateur Draft in June of 2007 and spent his first professional season with the Burlington Royals where he hit .337.

The March 15 article lists Lough as one of the Royals' "Under the Radar" prospects, and the March 12 article mentions his Mercyhurst career.
