Five Game Win Streak Halted by Lynn, 6-2
Feb. 28, 2007 BOCA RATON, Fla. - A four-run first inning by Lynn snapped Mercyhurst's five-game winning streak as the Lakers eventually fell 6-2. Brian Chad rebounded from a shaky first inning to last 7.1. He allowed all six runs on 10 hits and struck out six. Mercyhurst (5-2) got both of its runs in the fourth inning when Josh Schmidt doubled to bring home Jeff Stoll and Sean Weyant. Stoll and Brian Sanders each had a pair of hits. The loss was the first of two games on the day for Mercyhurst. The Lakers travel to Nova Southeastern where the Lakers will look to avenge a season-opening loss to the Sharks. |
