Club Hockey Secures Former Junior A Standout
Sept. 16, 2007
Erie, Pa. - A native of Gatineau, Quebec, Matt Warren will bring offensive prowess to the club hockey team. Coach McKinnon will look to Warren to help fill the void left by last years exodus of the club's top 5 scorers. Before Mercyhurst, Matt played for the Pembroke Lumber Kings of the Central Junior A Hockey League. While playing for Pembroke, Matt finished 2nd in CJHL league scoring with 38 goals and 41 assists for 79 points in 51 games played. Recently, Pembroke has been officially designated and registered as "Hockey Town Canada", a tribute to its longstanding hockey history. Coach McKinnon is pleased to have Matt Warren play for the club hockey team. "Matt is a highly skilled forward very capable of receiving ACHA All-American consideration", commented McKinnon. |
