Erie, Pa. - Coach McKinnon is pleased to announce that PIHL standout, Patrick Leone will be attending Mercyhurst College beginning this fall. Patrick has played the past four seasons with the Meadville Bulldog's Organization where he was a co-captain and member of the 2006-07 PIHL All-Star team. In addition, Patrick has been selected as one of the top 25 hockey players in Western, Pennsylvania by PA Hockey.

In 209 games with the Meadville Bulldogs, Patrick accumulated 115 goals and 116 assists for 231 points. In his most recent season, Patrick had 50 goals and 45 assists in just 46 games. 36 of Pat's 50 goals came on special team play where he netted 19 PPG's and added an additional 17 SHG's.

Coach McKinnon is pleased to have Patrick attend Mercyhurst and is convinced that Patrick will help contribute offensively this coming season.
