Janet Price - 2007 Hall of Fame Inductee
Janet Price was a pioneer for Mercyhurst athletics, playing a large role in beginning Laker athletics. She began at Mercyhurst in 1969 as a physical education instructor and the director of the intramurals program, eventually developing the varsity athletic programs.
She coached numerous sports from 1969-81, including women's basketball, women's volleyball, women's tennis, softball and men's golf. She was also the co-founder of Mercyhurst's sports medicine program.
