Mahoney led the women's basketball team in scoring in each of her four years. She was the first women's basketball player to reach 1,000 career points, and she currently places fourth overall in career points at the Hurst with 1,801. She averaged 18.3 points a game over her career and ranked fifth in the nation in points scored during her junior year. Mahoney also holds the single-game record for points with 45.
