David Lee - 2007 Hall of Fame Inductee
David Lee played two years of baseball at Mercyhurst before being drafted in the 23rd round of the 1995 Major League Baseball Draft by the Colorado Rockies. Lee was the ace of a staff that pitched Mercyhurst to a 61-15 record in 1994 and 1995.
In those two seasons, Lee went 10-3 with 104 strikeouts and was named to the 1995 All-Region team before being drafted. He went on to play five seasons in the Major Leagues with three different teams, compiling a 4.37 career ERA in 96 appearances. He was the fourth Mercyhurst alum to play Major League Baseball and the second baseball player to be inducted into the Mercyhurst Athletic Hall of Fame.
