In an era of two-point field goals, Green still managed to set all-time records for points in a season, 682, and in a career, 2,283. He also holds the records for most field goals in a career and season, most free throws in a career and season, and highest free-throw percentage in a season. His 24.3 points per game, set in 1982-83, still remains the highest per-game average in a single-season for a Laker basketball player.
