Nancy Emmi - 2003 Hall of Fame Inductee

Emmi, a native of Solvay, New York, and Bishop Ludden High School, played softball at Mercyhurst from 1985 through 1988. Her team won 58 games during that time. A defensive stalwart, she made only seven errors at second base in her four years and none in her junior and senior seasons. Her offense wasn't too shabby either. Nancy hit .350 her junior year and .351 as a senior. She was a CoSIDA Academic All-America Honorable Mention, a Second Team All-American Mid Atlantic Region, and both a First and Third Team GTE Academic All-American. A Dean's List student, Nancy graduated magna cum laude in 1987 with a 3.69 QPA in Criminal Justice/Security Loss Prevention, and then graduated with an M.S. in Criminal Justice Administration in 1989. Nancy is currently a Senior Intelligence Research Specialist for the U.S. Customs Service in San Diego, California.
