Dr. Allan Belovarac - 1997 Hall of Fame Inductee

Belovarac is Mercyhurst crew. He arrived at Mercyhurst in 1971 when the crew program was in its infancy. He immediately took up the sport and developed a passion that still thrives today. Belovarac was in the first boat that ever won a race for the Lakers, and the following year he co-captained the Varsity 8 boat. After his collegiate rowing career ended, he served as the novice coach from 1973-75, the assistant coach from 1977-80 and the head coach from 1981-86.
