Dave Armstrong - 1996 Hall of Fame Inductee
Armstrong
started for three seasons as an offensive lineman for the Mercyhurst
football team. He excelled both on the field and in the classroom.
He was named to the 1985 All-District team and GTE Academic All-American
team. After completing his college career, he played semi-professional
football for the Cleveland Falcons in 1988. Armstrong returned to
his alma mater and served as an assistant coach for seven years.
He is currently director of athletics and head football coach at
Thiel College.
