Brad Sage enters his first year as an athletic trainer. He comes to Mercyhurst from Norview High School in Norfolk, Va. as the head athletic trainer, where he worked there for two years. The Salamanca, N.Y., native graduated from Mercyhurst in 2003 with a B.A. in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training.

Sage is a 2005 graduate of Old Dominion University with a M.S. in Education with a concentration in Athletic Training. He is currently has a master's thesis titled "The Immediate Effect of Cryotherapy on Postural Control at the Ankle Joint." It is currently under review for the Journal of Athletic Training. He was featured in the June 2005 issue of The First Aider online magazine.

His role at Mercyhurst will be assistant athletic trainer, where he will primarily work with women's soccer.
