Male Athlete Of The Week
Andrew Schonhoff, Water Polo
Junior Andrew Schonhoff had 13 goals in four CWPA conference games, helping the team to a 3-1 record on the week. After losing a hard-fought 11-10 contest to Gannon midweek, Schonhoff scored eight goals as the Lakers' dominated the Golden Knights 16-9 Saturday to avenge that defeat. He also had two goals in the first contest against Gannon and then added three more in a win over Penn State Behrend. While Schonhoff did not score in a win over Salem International, he did play a quarter in goal, his first career action at that position.

Female Athlete Of The Week
Kim Ezzo, Tennis
Freshman Kim Ezzo remained unbeaten in singles play this year in dual matches by sweeping Findlay and Wayne State this weekend. Playing No. 2 singles, she won 6-2, 6-2 against Carrie Wise of Findlay and 6-1, 6-1 against Milena Vuksanovic of Wayne State. She also went 2-0 at No. 1 doubles, pairing up with Jennifer Daly to win 8-4 against Findlay and 8-2 against Wayne State. On the year, Ezzo is 9-1 at No. 2 singles and 6-0 in conference, as well as 7-3 in doubles and 4-2 in conference.

Men's Water Polo
Despite losing a midweek game to Gannon, the Lakers avenged that loss and went 3-1 on the week with three-consecutive conference victories. On the week, the Lakers outscored their opponents by an impressive 42-16 margin. Following the 11-10 loss to Gannon, the Lakers bounced back four days later to rout Gannon 16-9, using eight goals from junior Andrew Schonhoff. The Lakers followed that up with two impressive defensive performances against Salem International and Penn State Behrend, allowing just seven goals in the two contests. The squad, with a 3-1 mark in the CWPA Southern Division,
Western Region, improved their overall record to 7-5.
