The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) announced its fall All-Academic Team honorees today and 51 Mercyhurst athletes in seven sports were recognized. In order to be named to the list, an athlete must have a 3.0 grade point average or higher, be a starter or key reserve, and can not be a freshman or first-year transfer.
The 51 athletes named is 13 more than a year ago when the Lakers had 38 fall All-Academic Team members. The entire list follows:
